Wedding Booking: Terms & Conditions

The terms and conditions below form the basis under which your order will be executed. It is important to read them.

All prices quoted are quoted in ($) Australian dollars. GST is not charged.

Reservation of Wedding Date

A non-refundable deposit of 30% for orders above $2,000 is required to book the date. For orders less than $2,000 a deposit of $300 is required to book the date. The deposit will be deducted from your final wedding invoice.

Note: bookings are not confirmed until the deposit has been received. Payment of the deposit is an acknowledgement of Terms and Conditions. Once the deposit has been paid, the prices and dates are secure unless stated otherwise.

A quotation for the cost of your wedding flowers will be sent to you after the initial consultation in person or over email. The quotation is valid for 30 days, please confirm the prices again if booking afterwards. Payment is accepted via bank transfer.

The full balance for the contracted work is required six weeks before the wedding. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that the invoice details are correct. Any changes will be brought together at a meeting, via email or on the phone approximately two months ahead of the wedding, when all additional ideas and revisions can be addressed. This is rather than an on-going email correspondence, which we feel can result in confusion. Amendments can be made but if the total cost falls below 70% of the total confirmed quite, Tweed Twigs reserves the right to withdraw from the contract – in this instance the booking fee will be retrained.

rescheduling your event

The deposit is non-refundable, even if the date is changed, the wedding cancelled for any reason, or the client decides to engage an alternative supplier.

If you decide to reschedule your event to a later date and is more than 2 weeks before your original wedding date, then there will be a $100 rebooking fee. This fees allows us to put together a new design based on your new venue and floral season.

timeline: more than 2 weeks before your event

We can postpone or cancel your event, refund or credit any prior payments but retain the $300 or previously invoiced booking and design fee. If you would like to rebook a new date, there will be a $250 additional fee.

timeline: 7-14 days before your event

If you decide to cancel your event less than 2 weeks before the date but more than 7 days prior, we will be happy to refund you the on-the-day labour component of your final invoice.

timeline: less than 7 days before your event

Unfortunately we are unable to offer any refund. However the flowers and the skills that you have paid for are still yours to be utilised. We will work with you to decide what you would like done with your flowers - gifted to family, delivered to you or distributed to nursing homes.

If you are required to cancel your wedding less than 7 days because of the pandemic and would like us to rebook a new date, we will waive the $250 rebooking fee provided we are available on your chosen date.

weather

In the event of extreme weather including heavy rain and temperatures above 35 degrees C, Tweed Twigs reserves the right to implement a ‘stop work’ procedure to ensure that the team is not at health and safety risk. Tweed Twigs will continue with event set-up when the extreme conditions have been reduced at their discretion.

Tweed Twigs is also not responsible for the damage of florals due to extreme weather conditions.

Additional Fees

Setup, tear-down and delivery charges may apply. The cost of these services will be specified by Tweed Twigs according to the order. While we endeavor to make all deliveries within sufficient time before the event, we cannot be held responsible for any unexpected events that may occur which are beyond our control. We will endeavor to make alternative arrangements should this happen. In this event, refunds will be at our discretion.

Flower Availability

We take pride in our floristry and make every effort to provide the highest quality and unique look. Tweed Twigs uses fresh seasonal flowers following your theme and colours. We do not guarantee specific stem types. We will work with your wish lists and if available we will include them however if not we will use the wish list blooms as inspiration for alternative blooms.

Please note we never produce identical flowers or designs to the photos that you send in; these are used as inspiration.

Tweed Twigs reserves the right, without penalty or cancellation by the client, to alter the style and shape of vases, pots, sundry items and display articles should any required items become unavailable prior to the wedding date.

We can not control seasonal changes or availability as we work with nature. However, we will do whatever it takes and put in every effort to provide you with the products which have been agreed upon. If we need to make changes or substitutions we will advise you as soon as possible and advise you of the most effective and most suitable situation, and will ensure it is of good quality and equal value. 

The items are not exchangeable and non-refundable.

Photographs

Tweed Twigs reserves the right to take photographs of flowers and the setting prior to the wedding, which may be used for promotional purposes.

Responsibility

Tweed Twigs accepts no liability for injury, loss or damage to the hirer or any third party by any equipment hired for use at the event.
